Swim portion of Tri-day Friday. I think I'm finally starting to figure out my breathing while swimming. Tonight was the first time I was able to swim crawl the whole 15min. I think my problem before was that I was taking in too much air with each breath. Now I'm kind of inspired to get better at swimming.

Run portion of Tri-day Friday. Substituted the rower for the run. Was getting a bit tired by the end. Good workout.

Ride over the bridge thru Chamma and up to Badger mtn. Took the around trail to the other trail and then up to the summit and back home via Chamma. Took a few laps in Chamma on the way back but was starting to bonk.

Swam about 200m to warmup and then did 6x (2min on by 1min off) Aqua-running. Finished the evening with about 600m swim to cooldown

Got some new roller blades to 1) get some low impact exercise done outside the gym and 2) train for the XC-ski leg at Ski 2 Sea this year. Today was a little rusty on the skates and I got some weird looks, but hey, I don't care. Did three laps from the cul de sac to Trigger splits were: 12:32, 12:34, and 12:39. The skate motion hurt my knee a little but not like running. Plan is to try and skate around 3 times per week and loose 10-15 lbs by race day.

Indoor rower: 10min warmup followed by 10x (500m hard by 1 min recovery). I think I averaged around 1:52 for the 500m intervals.

Skiing at 49 deg. North. Skied about 1hr in the morning with the kiddos and then made some laps on my own, then after lunch skied with Kid #1 until last chair.

Day #1 at 49 deg. North. Made a few morning laps with Kid #1 on the beginner lift. Then skied thru lunch solo and then skied the afternoon with Kid #1. Stayed for a little bit of night skiing so the kids could get a few more runs on the tow.
