Running 39:18 [2] 6.83 km (5:45 / km) +127m 5:16 / km
shoes: Inov-8 238

Very slow run around the seat. Just to get me up and productive in the morning. Had a few niggles that I managed to run off.
4 PM

Running 52:40 [3] 9.17 km (5:45 / km) +207m 5:10 / km
shoes: New Balance 876

Got back from my first run to a message from Ali asking if I wanted an easy run this evening. Knew I'd gone pretty slow and felt like doing more running so decided I would go for it. Don't want to be too keen too soon as then it may not last, but training with someone else is great motivation, and it meant I ran up Carlton hill which I haven't before. Was trying my best to keep a reasonable pace, but my legs were about half the size of my training partners.
After Dad showing me yesterday the route I have to do for the Billy Bland Relay realised I really need to get fit, and fast.
This afternoons run felt pretty good, I was definitely tiring at the end, one point in the wind I thought I wouldn't move anywhere, but nice to do a bit more running not on road, even if just on grass. Legs were tired up the stairs after dinner, but feeling pretty good actually.

Orienteering 24:32 [3]
shoes: X-Talons

JK Relay, Hambleden.
Was doing Womens Short last leg. Only time I really felt like I was racing all weekend, and even then I thought we were so far down on the leaders that my run wouldn't make any difference, turned out I managed to pull us up to 4th which was pretty proud of, and I was on the run in at the same time as the 3rd team which I didn't know at the time. Maybe if I'd have known I'd have pushed harder, but I was pretty tired.
No GPS route.

Running warm up/down 5:00 [1]
shoes: X-Talons

Orienteering 1:12:00 [3]
shoes: X-Talons

JK Long, Cold Ash.
While I was running this felt like a worse run to Saturday. Managed to mess up a few controls (4,7,10) and a bit sloppy on others. But overall a better run than yesterday, just because I saw some people on my course out there which made me race a bit more, even though they were much fitter than me and it was only my actual orienteering that made me beat them.
No GPS route.

Not a great run, just not fit enough for this sort of terrain, just not fit enough in general. Never felt that I was pushing myself very much. Only really messed up number 6, apart from that a bit hesitant and just slow.

Never picked up my map after. But reasonable run, not sure on my shoe choice, they felt too heavy. Pretty average run really.

Note
(rest day)

Was intending to run this afternoon, but was so tired I just ended up having a nap instead. Feeling much better now though. Unfortunately won't get out tomorrow either as travelling.
