Treasure hunt in teams of 4. Richard and I did the running whilst the parents went to fill the swag bag. Our knowledge of Twells was rather lacking so we got lost on many occasions and had to follow other groups.

3rd day of the Drenthe 3-days. By far the best day yet, learnt to take it more slowly from the mistakes the previous day and therefore only made one large mistake on number 1. Overall I came 2nd by 1:43 in the M21 category. Very pleased! 10.1km

2nd day of the Drenthe 3 days. Middle Distance. Significantly harder than yesterday as the visibility was really poor. Made several errors due to going too quickly and losing contact with the map in the control circle. 5.8km

1st Day of the Drenthe 3 days. Surprisingly easier than I first anticipated, perhaps due to the excellent visibility making taking bearings easier. Only really made serious errors at the end when tired. 9km

BAOC mid-week event. Was a mass start with four loops, at the end of each one you come back and change maps. Really enjoyed it, spiked almost everything and overtook Neil. Surprised how ridiculously high my heart rate is though... 7.2km

Whilst Richard and the parents went to Ashford for some driving and to buy a shed, I went for a cycle around Bedgebury and Bewl. It was a little hot and a short spit of rain, but was really good. Legs were aching so much during the last climb up to Goudhurst.

Did an afternoons cycle and geocaching with George. Not logging it as training as it was hardly fast enough to raise the heart rate. Worked well in the sense that it kicked my muscles back into gear.
