Race The Castles - Strirling Castle, Women's Open/Brown, 13th/35

Started out well for the first 5 controls in the castles, then ran from #5-7-6-7 for some reason so lost a bit of time. Then I saw #8, which was the last control in the castle and it was on the way out so I just started planning ahead for the next few controls. Hit the circle, couldn't find the control (didn't realise it was on the level above), so i stopped, checked my control descriptions, ran around a bit and finally found it but had already lost 3:30ish. No other major mistakes on the course, just felt very tired and unfocussed. Alright overall.

Race The Castles - Edinburgh Castle, Women's Open/Brown, 2nd/40

Started out well, lost maybe 40s on the wrong level at #4 but other than that had a few 10-20s slips and maybe some minor route choices over the rest of the course, but nothing major that affected my overall time much. Very tired after all the climb/steps to 12 so slowed a bit for the next couple of controls but started to feel good again around #20. Overall very happy and a lot better than my last urban race in Edinburgh.
