Running (mostly trails/soft surfaces) 20:00 [2] 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: New Mizuno wave riders

Ugggh I think I got 3 hours of sleep since the last time I ran, and my legs were completely dead. But I figured it would be better to do something than nothing since I spent so much time on the plane/train. Ran with Jennie Anderson from Canada, who was in my tent.

Running (mostly trails/soft surfaces) 35:19 [3] 3.25 mi (10:52 / mi)

Run before work. I was in a great mood and right on schedule till I got to work and had 5 hours' worth of work piled on me. Left without finishing and will hopefully make it to the airport on time. #startuplife

Running (mostly hard surfaces) 42:22 [3] 4.7 mi (9:01 / mi)
shoes: New Mizuno wave riders

Didn't really have time to run but did it anyway. Ran around the reservoir and back. Did high-low with an armchair map I just finished, 14 controls. It went really fast.

core/legs 5:00 [3]

Office abs. Didn't have time for this either but did it anyway. Did my first set of peepers in like a year!

orienteering 1:09:22 [3] *** 7.63 km (9:05 / km)
ahr:152

Alex convinced me to do a partner map memory exercise. I wasn't initially excited about it because I'm not the best at map memory, but I decided I needed to get better. It was fun! It was challenging to memorize while she was pushing the pace.

Running (mostly trails/soft surfaces) (Lincoln Steeplechase) 51:58 [4] 6.55 mi (7:56 / mi) +137m 7:27 / mi
ahr:184 max:189

Pretty sure I've never run a race longer than 6k before, so I had a bit of trouble with the pacing. Still, it was fun! Lots of steep, rocky stuff. I accidentally thought it was 7.5M instead of 6.5, so I didn't pick it up enough at the end, but I was still super tired when I finished. Fun, and got in a bit of heat acclimation! In Boston, that means it was over 80 degrees:)

Running (mostly trails/soft surfaces) warm up/down (and 1 mile shakeout) 31:23 [3] 3.1 mi (10:07 / mi)

Uggggh tired. Alex and I walked most of our cooldown.

core/legs 11:00 [1]

with the roomie!

Running (mostly hard surfaces) 48:14 [2] 5.0 mi (9:39 / mi)
shoes: New Mizuno wave riders

Running to the Arboretum for a Janji photo shoot. We have a looming deadline for the spring 2014 catalog, and today was the only day we could get models. If only the sun would've been brighter!

Note

Ankle unexpectedly felt weird when I got done with my run. Icing just in case.
