didn't feel like cross-training and don't know if it's the best idea. Also, I decided now would be an opportune time to take my 2 weeks off.
Good news: icing is a good way to make me stay in one spot and do my last 3 weeks' worth of philosophy reading.

the crutches aren't so cool anymore. bruises from walking home last night.
Saw Anna today, who says I'm doing all the right things and the doctor comes on Tuesday if it's still hurting, which I'll take a wild guess and say it will be.

So you could say today was a rotten day. The pain in my shin started last night, and even after icing and anti-inflammatorying it, I can't walk any significant distance without it hurting really bad/me taking a break. But now I have crutches and feel better. And apparently, crutching home from the AC gets my heart rate up to 125. Hopefully if I ice I won't need them for long.
