Note

routes and climb for a Trondheim map. I was surprised at how many of the routes I chose were straight, given the amount of climb. I guess there was just a lot of climb you didn't have a choice about. I timed myself, and it was 15 s choosing routes, 15 remembering, and then a little less than 10s on avg for climb on each control.

Ended up talking with classmates 45 minutes after class had ended, and so I was 45 minutes behind schedule. woops! And so while this did not mess up my eating schedule, I was almost late for Skype training!

tried to keep the pace up. This was all I did this morning, due to the fact that I *really should* ice after I do anything weight-bearing, and there's no ice this early in the morning. But I'm looking forward to ellipticaling this afternoon!

I've decided that evening stuff doesn't work before morning exercise, because I woke up this morning feeling like crap. (But who knows, maybe if I would've drank/ate more afterwards I would've been fine...)

20 min. tempo effort, but it was really maybe steady state effort instead:( I wasn't very focused.

Anyway, missed afternoon pool so will either warm up for exercises on bike, or do it between 7 and 9 (ick!)

Knee had been hurting last night, and all I had time for was anti-inflammatories:\ but luckily I thought to draw on my knee where it hurt so the trainer could tell me what it was without making it start hurting again. He says tendinitis where my vastus medialis inserts, which is probably caused by the muscle not being strong enough. So the goal is to strengthen the muscle without putting strain on the tendon, which he said I could do by doing leg extensions in the last 30 degrees of motion, using both legs to lift and only my right to lower. But I'll have to try and wait till the medicine wears off so I can know how it's doing.

easy circuit b/c I couldn't jump and didn't know what would hurt my knee. High-low on 2 Norwegian courses, 1 Lithuanian one. I think I've done them all before though.
