Nav was pretty decent for the most part, just didn't have the legs. Started dying quite a lot the 2nd half and also then made a couple stupid mistakes just before the finish which was frustrating.

Pretty fast and simple forest for the first 3/4, then a nice technical last bit in the rocks.

30ish sec mistake getting pulled off by another control, otherwise just a few small ones and not running fast enough.

Some awesome rockery like terrain.

Pretty excited to be orienteering again!

Solid first 2 controls and then was too confident on the long leg to the 3rd and stuffed up completely. pulled too far right and then stuffing around for ages trying to work out where I was. 4min down the drain..

Back on track after that through to 13. Then caught up and passed Nick Barrable and got too excited about racing, promply making a big parrellel error and losing 2.5mins..

Okay again from there through to the finish.

Nice to be up there with everyone, but pretty frustrated with those 2 big mistakes. Could've (classic orienteer) been a really good result.

Note

So haven't run at all since Otter (12 October), and the knee still isn't quite right, but really couldn't miss a big5. Fitness obviously isn't great, but have had the 2 weeks hiking in reunion in November and the 2 weeks of cycling earlier this month, so it shouldn't be too bad.
