Another one with Mark.

From Hartsop today. Steep trudge straight up from the car to get onto the ridge, then a lovely run up the ridge towards Hart crag, then along the top and up to Fairfield. Down a nice technical rocky ridge before getting onto the smoother/bigger ridge past St Sunday crag, then carrying on down the ridge back to the valley via a small rocky outcrop+ a few more ferns. Last bit back on a trail just next to the road.

Another lekker time out in the hills! :)

With Mark (Purko)

Nice Scafell loop from Eskdale.

Flat/gradual climb up the big river (which turned quite canyony in sections which was really cool), then a nice steep climb up to the Scafell saddle, up to Scafell pike which was absolutely packed with tourists (what is it with humans and highest points :p), then back down a bit before heading up to Sca fell and then all the way down along that ridge (spur), which was super nice.

Some boggy flatter stuff and a bit through some not so nice ferns to finish off.

Up red screes, then weather was still looking nice and clear, so decided to do the full horseshoe. Down to the saddle, up and across to Hart Crag, then up to Fairfield and down that ridge past Great Rigg and down into Rydal. Back along the road to Ambleside trying my best not to destroy my lugs too much..

Cold wind blowing up top, and definitely got the direction wrong today (headwind for a large part of the exposed sections), so the jacket, gloves and buff were very appreciated.

Really enjoying these "hills"! Not the biggest or most spectacular, but super runnable, super pretty and so many nice ridges!! <3

A loop of the Coniston peaks with Beth

Up to Old man of Coniston, then along the ridge to Swirl How, down and up to Black sails, then Wetherlam and finishing off with a super nice descent back down to the jeep track.

Key retrieval.

Up the east side of the wall, down the west side. #variety.

Wind at my back again on the way up which was great. (Especially seeming it was about 80km/h at the top)

Up to sergeant man with Beth.

Some lovely 100ish km/h wind gusts making things pretty exciting :)
