Warm up and down not much to be honest.
11 AM

Orienteering race (JK Relay) 27:33 [3] *** 5.5 km (5:01 / km) +225m 4:10 / km

My first good run and on the last day, tbh not perfect but much better than i had done all week. Slow start to the course taking the first 6 controls steady to try get into it today, didnt bother myself about Jack gonig past i just let him, but i made a mistake on 8 after i decided to put my foot down on 7 only minor mistake costing me (+50 Secs) but that a lot in terms of a Relay and the group of 5 behind me caught me up. I then made another mistake on 9 going past it even after looking at in this cost me another (+30 Secs) and by that point everyone had gone past, i then had to chase my place back. I nailed 10 and was right behind them again and then made another little error on 11 costing me about (+20 Secs). an lost a little on them again. Then i really had to concentrate and dig to gain back my place and i did just before the finish and ended up gaining two places was happy but still could have been better. Lost about 1 Min 40 Seconds and could of ran faster for the first part but backed of should of been a time of about 25 mins maybe less. I need help bring me together to be honest i can't seem to do it myself.

Warm up and down more stretch than i had wished as i was as stiff as a board.

What a howler, i have not had the best weekend! AT ALL! Set of okay but rather slow to try and get myself under control but then made a silly mistake on 4 ended up at 21 and then still went wrong from there heading way to far to the right (+1 Min 30 Secs). Then made another mistake at 6 costing me a further (+30 Secs). Then another mistake on 9 costing me (+1 Min and 30Secs). Then another mistake on 12 costing me (+1 Min and 30Secs). Then another mistake on 18 costing me (+40Secs).Then a huge mistake on 20 were i lost completely were i was as i was drained costing me (+4 Mins).Then another mistake on 24 costing me (+30Secs). I had an overall time of nearly 11 minutes lost due to mistakes which is ridiculous! I them must of lost at least 5 minutes in running as i just gave up half way through as i believed i was doing rubbish and decided just to jog the rest slowly. I should have been just under 75 minutes.

Warm up and warm down. More intense to try get me more in the mood.

Really not happy at all with this race consider my start time and people around me and with middle being what i am usually best at. I set off and straight away made a 2 minute mistake at number one, i went to far left and then ran too low, so then ran right yet again past the control at that point i was pissed of and gave up and walked up the hill and fell on top of the control. At this point Peter Bray saw me get it and turned right stopping himself making my mistake (+2 Mins). After this i made another mistake on three going way to far past it, at which point Pete was too far ahead of me and Jonny Crickmore had caught me and i felt bad for myself (+1 Min). I then made another mistake at 6 the smallest leg of the whole course costing me another (+1 Min) i just went to far left and shouted at myself for all the msitakes i was making. I then had an okay later part of the course and made up some time but my race was lost at this point and another mistake at 16 meant it was all over (+1 Min). I lost around 5 mins in mistake and at least a few minutes in not running as good as i know i can, should of been under 36 Mins.

I have not done any sprint training for about a year and therefore i really struggled for speed. I also was not in the right mind set for a Urban as i kept hesatating on routechoice instead of just going with it as they were all 50/50 i wasted at least 10 seconds on at least 4 controls doing this and this really bugged me. A few little mistakes to probably adding up to about 30 seconds all in all not happy with my preformance but better than expected to be honest. I should be doing sub 15 minutes for a course like that.
