Note
(injured)

Since it clearly hurts more when I'm on the inside of my foot, I went out and bought some hard plastic insoles, and wore them all day. Doing some calf stretches. Icing one more time when I got home.

Note
(injured)

Running yesterday was fine, but afterwards my right ankle was a little painful. I went for a walk with Mei-An in the early evening, and that put the ankle over the edge. Limping when I got home.

This morning maybe even worse, limping all day. Consulting the Internet, I think this is posterior tibial tendonitis. I iced a few times during the night.

Road running 38:30 [3] 4.3 mi (8:57 / mi)
shoes: Adrenaline 15

Goddard perimeter road at noon. Kind of on the warm side. And my ankles don't feel great.

Trail Running 48:00 [3] 5.2 mi (9:14 / mi)
shoes: Adrenaline 15

Greenbelt Park Perimeter Trail. Nice day, 80s but shady on the trail. Unusually tired afterwards.

Road running 33:10 [3] 3.8 mi (8:44 / mi)
shoes: Adrenaline 15

Easy run. New shoes. I found one of the last pairs of Adrenaline 15s available. I'm not a big fan of either the 14s or the 16s, but the guy at RnJ said the 15s were more like the earlier models, which I liked a lot. Unfortunately, they sold the only pair they had in my size while I dithered about it, so I got these from 6pm.com on clearance. All the reasonable colors were gone, so I got the weird looking ones.

Road running 57:31 [5] 6.0 mi (9:35 / mi)
shoes: Adrenaline 16

Intervals at Einstein track. 4x1000 with 3 min jog between. Goal was 4:19. Actual times: 4:19, 4:20, 4:20, 4:25. Yeah, that last one was hard. Maybe a 4:00 rest would have helped keep things even. It was mid 70s, partly sunny.

I think the last time I did these things was in May, and the times were a few seconds better. Since then I've been working on more slow distance. I'll try another one of these next week.
