Little Bennett Red. This event was postponed once for rain (actually for soggy ground on the parking field and the trails) but it was really soggy running anyway. 40 degrees and a steady rain, with a couple of knee-deep stream crossings and a lot of mud running. The parking problem was alleviated through the generosity of the golf course, who let us park cars and walk to the field, about 500m. It's not like there was going to be much golf today.

The course was not technically difficult, but the first half was more interesting, and unexpectedly physical. I made one mistake, on the way to 6, having a little trouble with the trails across the creek and going up to the road, which was a good attack point but unnecessary climb. The second half was a lot of trail running (it can't really be helped, starting where we do) but I think a few controls could have been eliminated: 8, 10, 12, 15, and some others better placed.
