Nice to back amongst the munroes after a few corbetts of late but definitely felt the extra climb.
Felt a bit aggrieved in an odd way with the draconian MWIS forecast for upland gales 35mph-50mph on the tops. Binned the sunscreen and hat for goggles and mitts which weren't much use in the initial sunshine.
Good tough climb to get up on the ridges but the going was generally pretty good underfoot - everywhere so nice and dry atm. Once on the ridges, there was some great running to be had along the narrow tops (scenic narrow not scary narrow), proper braveheart stuff.
Pretty dead out on the hill - just 2 folk today.
Legs really felt the jarring descent off Gulvain, especially both kness and patella tendons, starting to feel like an old man...
