Cycling 40:40 [2] 13.22 km (19.5 kph) +311m

legs feeling a bit tired from yesterday so went for a little mooch from the house. legs didn't feel too bad once on the bike.

punctured within 6 minutes :-)

was hoping the track round the back carried on and looped round so I could complete a circular trip down to Roybridge, but it rudely stopped once I'd dropped down to the river.

Nice to be back on a bike.

Gulvain and Braigh nan Uamhacan (1M,1C)

Nice to back amongst the munroes after a few corbetts of late but definitely felt the extra climb.

Felt a bit aggrieved in an odd way with the draconian MWIS forecast for upland gales 35mph-50mph on the tops. Binned the sunscreen and hat for goggles and mitts which weren't much use in the initial sunshine.

Good tough climb to get up on the ridges but the going was generally pretty good underfoot - everywhere so nice and dry atm. Once on the ridges, there was some great running to be had along the narrow tops (scenic narrow not scary narrow), proper braveheart stuff.

Pretty dead out on the hill - just 2 folk today.

Legs really felt the jarring descent off Gulvain, especially both kness and patella tendons, starting to feel like an old man...

WEE Hermitage. Pleasure to be running around enjoying the orienteering rather than hanging controls here! I quite enjoyed Laura's brutal course which resembled a bit of an adventure / cliff climbing at times but all great fun.

Jamie stuffed my by about 4 mins, thought I would get a bit closer than that doh.

Body relatively OK.

Shame the height didn't track as it was proper hilly

Leum Uilleim (1C)

After a lot of productive house faff, nice to make the most of the weather and get the train out to Corrour. Took Dexter again who enjoyed it and the snow patches.Achilles didn't seem to bother me too much, but a short one.. see how it reacts tomorrow. Went reasonably hard on the climb and on the way down.... to give enough time for a tasty (but expensive) Venison burger at the Station Restaurant place (would recommend).
