Scottish Relays with Ant on 1st Pete 3rd.

Field quite spread out after 1st leg, was a bit down in 6th but plenty of teams to chase. Took pretty safe routes round paths following some feedback from 1st leg runners. Caught and passed Rob Baker and Ed Nicholas, otherwise relatively quiet in the forest trying to push on. Legs felt pretty fresh thankfully, very glad of the rest day yesterday.

Quite enjoyed the course and area, although I got a bit confused with Rhodo mapping at times.

Pete nearly managed to pull us up to 3rd, but we had to settle for 4th in the end.

Nip out on the bike. Etape training. Pretty strong southerly, meaning the out was quite fun, the return not so much. Explored the Sherrifmuir road all the way down to the A9 which was nice.

My back was getting quite sore from 40 mins in, on the left hand side above my hip in the small of my back. Probably need to go to physio because 7 hours in the alps may not be ideal. Perineum good. Knee good. Stomach felt a bit dodgy half way round, but I did have a massive mcdonalds a few hours before heading out.
