Note

punctured heal with nail through side of work boot.
This was extremely sore Monday - Wednesday
By friday it was manageable.
Felt it on Saturday when I kicked up a branch against it while hiking.

RED Course at Fair Hill. made one big mistake on #6 overrunning by 200m as I lost track of the reentrants I crossed. My second mistake was trying to force using an overgrown trail between control 8 & 9. After finally getting through (as turning around would have taken even more time) I was in an unmowed field. This was a huge drain mentally and physically.
After downloading I could not seem to cool down. I think I was on the cusp of heat exhaustion.
Oh yea, this was the maiden outing for my inov8s and I went through a swamp on #6 that I shouldn't have had to if I was where I should have been.
