Orienteering 1:49:00 [3] 8.75 km (12:27 / km)
ahr:148 max:177 shoes: VJ Integrator

Hickory Run Red 8.75 on a 6.1km course = 143%
really only wanted to do Green but the walk to the start and air temp/wind made me switch to Red as the start was nearby.
A bunch of navigational mistakes but some other areas of good navigation. I find it distracting to have cadets see me and start sprinting to my trajectory and realize the control is not there. I really need to try to block other orienteers from my mind. I find them distracting and they generally lead me off course.
The last long control was tough and my ham strings began to tighten as I fought through the last parts of green veg. Not much energy left for the finish. just trying to keep from falling over.

Nov 23 - just entered my RG info.
I drifted off my bearing 7 times (5 to the right and 2 to the left) 4 of those were partialy caused by nearby orienteerers. 5 were uphill one by a stream.
