Note

So now I know what is worse than running a course on a 5000 scale when you think it is 10,000...

Getting to an event the day after it was hosted :(

I remember seeing the saturday on the schedule way back in the spring but it never crossed my mind again. I was looking for O-signs today and couldn't find any... so bummed I missed this.

It's so easy to exercise on vacation.
I need to more of this vacation stuff :)

Trail Jogging 32:00 [3] 5.0 km (9.4 kph)

Back to Apollo Beach to end the vacation.
jogged barefoot again using the pace count I calculated on the treadmill. 2500 paces.

I really enjoyed the run on the beach even in the middle of a hot day. My pace being similar to the treadmill, I was probably around 135 - 140 for a heart rate so it was not too strenuous.

Second toe on left foot felt sore. afterward I discovered I developed a blister on the bottom tip. Also has a smaller on on the second toe of my right foot. The next day my heals were also a bit tender. seems I land on the outer edge of them.

I read Sandy's entry about needing to toughen up her feet for extended beach walks, now I see why. But running in an inch or 2 of water is so refreshing.

Swimming 40:00 [3] 1.2 mi (33:20 / mi)

Another mile in the resort pool.
nice sunny day and the heat was just starting to build. Had the entire lap pool area to myself.

Trail Jogging 38:00 [3] 5.2 km (8.2 kph)

2nd tread mill outing.
What better wimpy way to work out on a day with a heat index of 110.

Day at Aquatica water park.
I'm putting this in as exercise as it included a lot of stair climbing.

Trail Jogging 30:00 [3] 2.75 mi (5.5 mph)

2000+ paces on apollo beach barefoot.
this was relaxing and got me over my 10,000 steps for the day.
I'm sure several people thought I was nuts with the heat index over 100 but it didn't bother me.
