Beauty day again!! Felt like I couldn’t breathe or get my HR under control but hey, it’s spring so...
Leg felt half decent. Only reeeaallly sore in the last 5 minutes, but blisters came on full force even with tape and special socks. Sigh.

Note

ANYONE IN THE HAMILTON AREA

McMaster Right To Play Club is doing a shoe drive! Ends April 26th.
If you've got any old shoes that are still in decent condition, drop em off with me and i'll donate them! Or if you're feeling adventurous, you can swing by the McMaster David Braley Athletic Centre and chuck em in the bin at the doors.
Give every kid the privilege of sport!

ahr:161 max:185 shoes: New Balance 860v8

Out to the trail centre with Ghoslo on a beauty day!
This was tough but so fun!
This was a final test run of these shoes to decide if i’d return them or not. Decided that I didn’t like them after many adjustment stops aaaaaannndddd now they’re covered in mud. Cool.
Aimed for 30 but got some blisters starting up in my arches again from the shoes+orthotics so stopped early. That’s the last thing I need on top of everything right now.

In better news, 5days left and 2 exams until I’m free!

News from the Doc. He, like the varsity trainer, believes there is some nerve damage from the injection. Since the area is very is small with a lot happening, recovery scar tissue may have formed in the wrong place, kind of squishing some nerves into places they shouldn’t be. I’m going to have another ultrasound to confirm this soon, and then a possible (quick sounding) treatment. For now, he said that I can train as I want. It’s not going to make anything worse since there is no tendon damage, but it’s gonna be painful.

I guess that’s good news?
