Core and arms

Stretching 5:00 [0]

Note

One more day of full rest and will start core again on the weekend, and then back into biking/pool running next week, and running by the week after. Leg is much better to walk and I have full movement again. Still very tender to touch.

Note

Pain is improving but still not a comfortable feeling. Swelling is minimal so that's good!

News news news!

So I finally got an answer to my injury!
After the ultrasound today it seems that i’ve been having symptoms of some chronic tendon thickening in my tib post tendon. The tissue layer surrounding the tendon has gotten so thick that it’s restricting blood flow in the area, and limiting its movement next to the bone, and that’s why it’s painful. Got an injection of cortisone using the ultrasound which was so gross and so cool at the same time.
One week of rest and then slowly building back up.

Note
(rest day)

Glad to have rest with such a busy week.
The numbing has worn off in my leg and the injection site definitely doesn't feel comfortable. It's not that sore to walk on, just if I put my foot at a weird angle... then it's bad. Mostly like this pulsing pressure. Will see in the morning if I need to walk around with crutches on campus or not...
