Note

Lots more IKEA drawer building today, pretty pooped!
I also have quite the sore throat and tickling cough. I hope it's nothing but I've been loading up on Cold FX.

The training plans for this week are to keep the legs moving and relaxed, and to work on hurdle technique like crazy. Nothing strenuous!

Paddle to wall island and back with Hammer for lunch, 'swimming' and snoozing. Windy on the way out and totally calm on the way back. Perfect!

Souths 3k in the sauna where I absolutely died.
I was with the top 5 or so for the first 2-3 laps. Then I separated and then it just went downhill. Was so incredibly dizzy my form fell apart. Oh well, no one was fast today in the heat. Well, except for Chloe!

Not the best race ever, but I ran smart and hurdled almost all of the barriers expect the first few and last one. Water jumps declined in style throughout the race. Going to OFSAA!!!

2x400m at 1500m pace, 2 mins rest in between. 1:26, 1:21
2 sets of 3x 200m with steeple half way with 1:30 rest. 39, 40, 40, 41, 42, 40
About 3-4 mins rest in between each set. (Not included)
I felt pretty tired on the first 400 but got into it. The last few 200s were tough because I was really starting to feel the heat.

At Christie Lake with Nicole and her dad! Double track around the lake to warm up and then we played around in the single track. Fun stuff, and absolutely perfect weather!
