Muddy, windy, slow, did I mention muddy? rail trail ride with Nicole on the MTB. Turbo, Sudden and Hammer left us in their dust. Totally pooped, but a gorgeously warm, sunny day outside :)

Based on the rough trail conditions I saw yesterday on a hike and my experience last Saturday, I figured it would be best to stay on my feet today and not hurt myself. Will go for a run tomorrow.
Also, my right calf has been quite tight since the track meet so my shin is verging on being sore.

91st Hamilton Indoor Games 3000m!

Wow, that was a lot of laps. Felt great starting out, leading for a while. Then I realized that I had forgotten to take my inhaler before and then the dry air really got to me. Gasp-y breaths at the end made it hard to push since I was pretty dizzy. I still felt pretty consistent throughout, and my form felt better than usual.
11:27 Is still a great time based on where I'm at in the season, having done very little short interval workouts this season and being indoor on the world's sketchiest track!
