I was aiming for longer but my quads and hammies were just not happy campers today. Decided that it was too risky to over do it and be out for xc so I went home and stretched. Had an epsom salt bath, rolled and got some salt into me but they're still very sore :(

2 short interval workouts.
First one was 6 minutes, and each time the coach blew the whistle you had to run faster or slow down depending on the # of blows.
The second was with a partner and while one partner did a fast 350m loop, the other did a shorter recovery jog. All x3
Felt awesome today! Hamstrings were tight but didn't feel them on the run

First XC practice easy run with the sr girls and midget boys. Lovely weather after all the humidity we've been having.

At Lions Valley with Meghan and some ARXers. Did part of a butterfly loop, focusing on control taking. Nailed each one even though there was no flag. Cut it short because it was stinking hot and the blisters I got yesterday from fancy shoes were killer on both feet :(
