NAOC Sprint -Brown W (W18)

super fun race today! no mistakes! YAY! could have made some better route choices but i was really pleased with my race :)
coming up to the 3rd last control, which was on the inside of a fence corner, i came on the outside and not having read my control description, i had to run all the way around to the inside. fail. :P

so much fun watching everyone run by the spectator controls!

NAOC relay! Canada junior women's team 2 with Darya and Jennifer!

SO MUCH FUN
i was so excited to run the relay! Before, when i was waiting for my leg, i was getting loads of jitters. But after, i was having so much fun on the course!!! i had an awesome run, felt really smooth and made safe route choices. got freaked out, yet again, by a dude with a camera in the woods. :P
super, super fun race and it was sooo great representing canada! :D

NAOC Long- W18
Short jog to start with lots of stretching.
Ok race today, made one big mistake, but just didn't really feel the 'umph' for the rest of the race...
Made a pretty big mistake on #3. Ran down into a ravine that wasn't even in the right direction. Ended up standing around a bit longer than I would have liked trying to figure out where I was. Finally found a tower in the trees to help me. :P
Kept at a slower pace than normal on the long legs just to keep in close contact with the map.
Really nice woods in some parts of the course which was awesomeness! :) and definitely better weather than yesterday!
Excited for the relay tomorrow!

Warmup to start
NAOC middle- W18
Had a pretty good race! Little mistake on number 6, not on my compass bearing and I think I just lost focus, and also on the last few controls all close together. pretty challenging course today, but fun in the rain! Got poured on half way through which was interesting...
Almost wiped out a couple times but managed not to completely fall on my butt. :P

HWDSB city's XC meet at christie!

Small race this time! only like 40 people!! came 3rd overall and 1 midget girls team! advancing to SOSSA! SO EXCITED!
had a good race and was able to catch up a bit and pass a few people on the uphill. :)

feeling pretty tired from the meet this morning so didn't do too many :P
