First O meet in 7 months. It was good to get back at it. Took PeggyD's spot, thanks! Haven't been doing much running either so was curious to see how this went.

Knew the run wouldn't be so bad as I only overshot the first point by a little. I punched the wrong control at 7. I was approaching and saw a point off to the left. Figured it would be the control. When I got there it didn't look right and I checked the number and it didn't match. Didn't take long to correct. The long route to 9 worried me and I was never completely sure where I was until right before I got there. My bearing and route was too far west. Followed the wrong reentrant to 11. Poor bearing to 20. Poor bearing out of 25 but the trail backstop saved me. Got confused reading symbols for 26 and was looking for gully/ditch at 26 instead of pit. When I got there didn't see it. Moved around and then found it. Enjoyed the run from 27 to the finish down the reentrant.

Felt pretty good about the run. Fitness was decent and no major errors. The woods were very runnable. Course was different as we had to segments where we returned to the same control 3 times.

Split wood for 2 hours. Definitely as much a workout as Tico's strength workouts.

Took the bandage off my toe. A little swollen/puffy but seems to be ok. Made it through with minimal pain/discomfort.
