Did some loops around some intercoastal islands. Rented a sea kayak which was troublesome in that I couldn't fully utilize my legs. Wasn't quite sure what was going on with the tide but I could feel it at times.

Was pretty beat after I got back to the house.

Toe felt ok. A little awkward and sore at times but overall no problems.

Another rider caught me at the end of the gravel on Norris Run. I picked up the pace to stay with him and then started dropping him. We chatted a bit. On our way down Lick Run we saw a black bear cross the road. Looked like a yearling. Dangly arms.

Podiatrist
Toe not broken but nail completely detached. He pulled the nail. He suggested terbinafine (Lamisil) to help the nail grow back healthy. He said the previous warnings I had received about the drug were unwarranted and given a clear liver panel I would be fine. I did some research and agree.

Morning run w/Zitch/Skip at Pandapas. Tripped early on and then again coming down Homonym. LOTS of pain as I stubbed my bad toe. Screamed for a bit and then started walking while I yelled some more. Finally started running again (another 4.5 miles) and slowly picked up speed with minimal pain.

Got painful again once I got back to the car and started doing normal things. Pretty sure it is broken but it may be bruised/sprained and "broken" toenail.

Also my first time running Lark Spur.
