Orienteering race 3:30:00 [4] 6.45 mi (32:34 / mi)

OCourse out of Hopi Camp.
We had trouble finding the first CP which was located just beyond the camp in the large reentrant. We then had to shwack up the reentrant as the logging road we were un disappeared.

I think we skipped 3 CPs here and captured the other 3. We were running out of time and had to get back to the bikes to bike back to the finish.

Mountain Biking race 1:29:00 [4] 3.88 mi (2.6 mph)

Ride down Sugarloaf to the finish.

Orienteering race 7:44:00 [4] 21.03 mi (22:04 / mi)

Orienteering Course from Laurel Summit. Joined CC (solo) about 30 minutes in. His company was enjoyed and I think he appreciated having a team to trek with for a while.

We were the only team to clear this section.
7 AM

Mountain Biking race 4:25:00 [4] 17.4 mi (3.9 mph)

MTBO that started at Laurel Summit and ended at Hidden Valley. We got 4 of the 5 CPs. The one CP we dropped was a tough out and back and on crappy roads. CP0 went and got that point and was dissappointed that they spent the time on it.

On the way back to HV we forgot to punch a CP along the way and had to go back and get it :(

Stopped at CoGos again for some food and drink :)
11 AM

Orienteering race 8:04:00 [4] 17.78 mi (27:13 / mi)

OCourse from Hidden Valley.
This was mostly on the Mountain Streams map. Took what seemed to be the shortest route but other routes may have provided easier access to CPs.

Right before we ran down the hill to HV Laura had blisters and swollen toe nails that required significant attention.

We dropped 1 of the 9 CPs. We had been informed that it was not easily accessible and would require a good bit of climbing to capture. We were also running up against a potential cutoff at HV.
7 PM

Mountain Biking race 6:00:00 [4] 52.5 mi (8.8 mph)

Ride back to Hopi Camp from Hidden Valley. Toby was getting sleepy as we approached Confluence. We decided to take a short nap at Ramcat. This allowed us to start climbing right when we woke up in order to keep us warm.

Adventure Racing race 44:39:00 [0] 203.17 mi (13:11 / mi)

Equinox Traverse - 1st place

Mountain Biking race 1:37:00 [4] 14.03 mi (8.7 mph)

11 AM

Paddling race 2:27:00 [4] 10.5 mi (4.3 mph)

2 PM

Strength race 10:00 [4]

Rappell

Trail Running race 3:13:00 [4] 13.1 mi (14:44 / mi)

Trek from the paddle takeout to the TA, trek to and from the rappel and then trekked along the Laurel Highlands trail. Dropped down to the river after we punched the on CP along the trail. Should have crossed the river right away. The road we were on was poor surface and undulating. Once we crossed we were able to run the canal. Athough it got our feet wet it cooled us off nicely to cross the river.
5 PM

Mountain Biking race 6:00:00 [4] 46.5 mi (7.7 mph)

Confluence to Laurel Summit.
Made one mistake as we left the summit of Seven Springs. Took the wrong road and had to take a major detour to get back on track.

Stopped at CoGos for an energy burst that got us through the night!
