Aus champs recap

WA long:
boring map and awful weather, would've given up if the controls weren't on the way back anyway

Aus middle:
only minor mistakes but ran really slow, not sure what went wrong

Aus sprint:
result not awful but not great either
one hesitation on 15, the rest I'll put down to running speed

Schools individual:
messed up 2 and completely messed up number 3

Schools relay:
super solid race, only one tiny mistake in the final loop, very happy

Aus long:
technically a pretty good race
poor exit from 1, cut in too early to 11, stuck in green on 13 and a bit too high on 18, but all fairly mild time losses
unfortunately forgot to take my gels and whether or not it was just mental it does look like I dropped time over the second half of the course
still happy enough with the result given the races earlier in the week

Aus relay:
fairly slow in the early part but nothing drastic
completely missed the track route to number 8 and then messed up 10 badly too
picked up after that, but a small mistake on the 3rd last control let qld get in ahead

overall some pretty poor results
not exactly surprising considering how my training went since easter - way too long sick and just about no speed work
in the end not overly disappointed though, going to tasmania regardless and it's all just lead up to easter - plenty of time to improve
