Physical race with some very very steep slopes and plenty of bracken. Was doing ok, but it was clear that I haven't done a race in almost a year. Quite vague at times and poor control exits in particular. A couple of big errors at #9 (parallel error compelled by recognising it.... but to the south rather than north) and #10 (poor route). The rest was just slow on the rough terrain, but felt quick on runnable forest and paths: clearly my training is working for that. I need to see if I can add "scrambling through bracken up ridiculously steep slopes" to my schedule :)

Comfortable hard as they say. Feeling back in the grove again. Heavy legs at the end of the hills, but pushing through that. A new PB for the standard 6.1k route
