Probably the fastest I ran all day. To the start with Andrew, thought we were going to be late!

Hadn't fully decided what I was going to do but there wasn't a good cut off so I did it all. Just jog/walking, keeping an eye on the HR and wrapped up in thermal and waterproof. Because it was actually my aim to take it easy I enjoyed it. Orienteering fine apart from losing some confidence to 15 as I let myself think it would be hard so psyched myself out. Foot a bit sore by the end.

Highland Wolf - Mass Start Middle.
Maybe went off a bit too hard and then really struggled and felt like I was jogging the rest. Breathing and throat feeling really awful. Have felt like I was getting ill for ages but had managed to hold it off thus far. Did ok but disappointed not to be able to race properly. Navigationally ok apart from a little bit of dodgy direction 2-3.

Supposed to be 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1min (1min).
The group me and Saz ended up with were running too fast so they didn't have enough rest and we lengthened it. Ended up being 1min, 2min, 2min, 2min, 90s rest. Week one so just getting back into it. Somehow enjoyed it! Was thinking more about the newbies than about how it was hard.
