Running 6:00 [1] 0.65 km (9:14 / km)
shoes: More Mile Cheviot 3 Purple/Gre

Lil bit of WU in the box. Feet feeling better once running and once they had spent some time in o shoes.

Orienteering 29:03 [5] 4.6 km (6:19 / km) +110m 5:38 / km

JK Relay
Expected it to feel terrible but I actually felt pretty good, relay legs are 100% a thing! Really enjoyed it and I was finally navigating better. Just really enjoy head to head racing, it makes me focus better and adrenaline got me through the pain from my feet and knee. Small wobble on 10 when I got pulled off by the wrong gaffle also hadn't really planned that well and had to stop for a wee on the way to 11 because I was 100% going to wee myself if I didn't, but don't think I lost that much time hahaha. Was absolutely dying up the hill at the end and down the run in, forgot to wear my HR monitor though!

Running warm up/down 5:00 [1] 0.5 km (10:00 / km)

Attempted to WD with Saz but kept getting distracted by people and the race so gave up after I had managed 5 out of about 30mins...

Running warm up/down 20:48 [1] 3.3 km (6:18 / km) +60m 5:47 / km
ahr:144 max:158 shoes: Purple MM 2

To the start avec Phil, so many struggles and it was only to the start! Bit stressful as I could tell that he was going to be late, all worked out ok though.

Orienteering 1:40:03 [3] 14.33 km (6:59 / km) +160m 6:37 / km

JK Long.
Survived! At the time I didn't feel like I had any big issues anywhere but I did lose a fair bit looking after. Bit hesitant to 2 as there were some extra paths. Went straight on 5 but continuing the theme from the middle my compass was terrible and I went straighter than intended... Saw 6 from a mile off but decided it wasn't mine and faffed a bit. Bit unsure where I had popped out on the slope for 16. Fell just before 18 and bashed my knee which was v sore, hobbled for a bit but knew I wanted to finish so manned up and carried on. Took a lot of path routes for the rest and I maybe could have cut off but I was plodding and paths were easier running. I had passed Abi Weeds way back at 10 and then she recaught me at 23 which boosted my speed back up a bit until the end. Was totally on my own apart from that and I reckon if I hadn't mp'd the middle and was running with others around me it could have been a totally different race. Major ragrets in that I wore new shoes and they absolutely shredded my feet, definitely slowed me down a lot towards the end of the course... In far too much pain for a WD.

Running warm up/down 16:48 [1] 2.59 km (6:29 / km) +30m 6:08 / km
ahr:142 max:191 shoes: Purple MM 2

To the start with Meg and then a bit on the WU map, legs feeling dire.

Orienteering 42:51 [3] 5.99 km (7:09 / km) +76m 6:44 / km
ahr:158 max:182 shoes: Purple MM 2

JK Middle.
Had a right nightmare. Head just not in it. Think I was trying to run too fast. Tentative on 2, 3, 4, complete banana to 5, tentative on 6 then went to the wrong number 7. I don't even know what happened, I read the code, knew it was wrong then somehow decided that it had been right and I'd read the wrong one... Then was in a weird place going to 8 and totally messed it up. Then banana to 9 as well. After that I slowed down a bit (having lost much motivation) and and it went better, though I still messed up 15 a bit. It was weird because I saw noone until Kirstin caught me up at 18. Really disappointed, I have never mp'd like that before, I've missed controls out but never punched the wrong one. New day tomorrow but feels kinda pointless when I won't get an overall result and will probs just break myself...
In total lost at least 6mins which is so bad nevermind the fact I also mp'd. Definitely not how to run a middle race.

Running warm up/down 9:21 [1] 1.3 km (7:12 / km)
ahr:130 max:147 shoes: Purple MM 2

Round the field with Kirstin attempting to cheer me up (thanks pal xoxo).

With Julie, jogging and drills. Almost missed my start chatting lols.

Orienteering 18:24 [5] 3.91 km (4:42 / km)
ahr:175 max:186 shoes: More Mile Cheviot 3 Purple/Gre

JK Sprint Brunel Uni.
Enjoyed it! Far too fast an area for me though. Was dying, had a bit of a slow patch in the middle when I just felt like I couldn't push anymore but picked it up again and just about held it together until the end. If it had been any longer I defs would have made a big mistake. Lost ~ 10s on 22 as the line to 13 covered a wall and I didn't see you couldn't get through up the first set of steps. Not sure on my 9-10 route but probs doesn't matter...

Running warm up/down 9:39 [1] 1.32 km (7:19 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 2000 v5

With the gals. Chatted to Paul a bit in the middle and then picked the girls up again.
