Running 30:00 [3]

Hash Run. Was very short! Me and Katrina got a bit left behind because Mickey (dog) came with the group and he can't run fast so we had to stay with him at the back :/ Finlay took him back though and then we could run the rest! Had to work out where to go by ourselves, wasn't too bad though and some people had waited for us further on...

(injured)

Had literally been going for 5 minutes when I went over on my ankle :/ Had cut off the corner between 2 tracks and it was really grotty underfoot and I was just about to get onto the track again when I did it, didn't even get to number 1...
I go over on my ankles all the time and it never hurts for long but this time it did. Waited until it stopped hurting quite so much and then just walked back to the start. I've never given up a course before :( Very frustrating! I can still walk on it, so hopefully it will be better quickly, definitely going to rest and not do much over the next few days.

Orienteering 1:30:00 [3]

Last Supper. V brief WU then a star relay thing with forfeits each time you went out, was with Andrew B and think we did quite well?!
Then did a three-armed relay but Finlay had no tape so it was just in pairs basically! Various challenges at the controls. Me and Emma did roly polys on one leg, soo sore! Also squirty cream mustaches, pretty yummy :)

Night, street score with Jess. Time limit was 20mins, so quite proud we were only a minute late back! Went quite far out and got the high pointers, came 2nd as well which was good :)

Strength and Conditioning 50:00 [3]

Warm up then Strength stuff. Pull Downs (5,5,3): 40,40,45. SLDL (8,8,8): 40,41,42.5 (think it should have been 5,5,3?!). Also rollering afterwards.

Rowing 11:00 [3] 1.8 km (6:07 / km)

Did 2x 40s hard, 40s easy 1 min between each set. Only did 2 because my right forearm started to hurt :/ Could have been because of the pull downs? Anyway didn't want to hurt my arm when doing something that wasn't essential!

Orienteering race 54:50 [4] 8.0 km (6:51 / km)

FWTN - Braids. Don't know how far it was officially but I did about 8km... Went alright. Was all a bit disorganised at the start and I had an extra long map so I cut some of the controls to make it the same as the long (I hope!) Made a mistake quite early and lost everyone I was running with :/ But then did better in the second half and I sped up for the last few controls just to get a bit of speed in!

Strength and Conditioning 1:15:00 [3]

Same session as last Wednesday. Found it all a bit easier because I knew what I was doing :) Although bit of a failure with the medicine ball!

Running 1:20:00 [3] 13.0 km (6:09 / km)

Didn't go on Toni's long run because I had work to do... Just went from home, around the Water of Leith to the Dean village then up to Ravelston Dykes along and onto old railway line, to Craigleith, Ravelston Woods, round to junction by Davidson's Mains, onto Corstorphine Hill, to the S end, back through the streets to home. Quite steady for most of it, did 10x10s fast 20s slow in the middle though.

Running warm up/down 25:00 [2]

Some drills and jogging before and jogging part of the way home.

5 x 1km. Did: 4.07, 4.03, 4.01, 4.02, 3.59, 90s between each one
Felt so much better than I have ever felt in intervals and it showed in the times :) also broke 4 mins!! On the 3rd one I had to stop and stand still at the far corner while the haries ran around both sides of me not even attempting to get out the way! so possibly could've got under 4 on that one as well... but still pleased with the session.

Feeling a bit coldy still, but fingers crossed it won't come to anything! I will be careful.

Strength and Conditioning 50:00 [3]

Did the same warm up as last week then Back Squat: (5,5,3) 50, 51, 52.5 and Bench Press: (5,5,3) 22.5, 25, 27.5. Also rollering afterwards.

Did Toni's treadmill test thing. 4 x 4mins with heart rate at 140,150,160,170. Right ankle hurt a bit at the start but stopped hurting once I was into it. Was really weird running on a treadmill!
