No running all weekend again as doing house stuff. In fact i have just been looking after the kids while ray does house stuff but can't go running with 2kids in tow. even turned up to the grudge match hill race ready to run but laurence was really miserable and there were no kids there for him to play with and noone they knew well enough to leave them with so i couldn't run. Frustrating and depressing weekend all in all. Not sure why i bother trying as it takes so much effort on so little sleep and if i can't end up doing the training i feel i need to, how can i perform with confidence in a race. Crap. I am not going to the east district xc now. Too far to go to run shittily. moan over! Grrrrr!

Off-road running 43:30 [3] 6.0 mi (7:15 / mi)
slept:6.5

Feeling perky despite a 'fresh' headwind. looking forward to getting blown all the way home.
4 PM

Road running 44:00 [3] 5.8 mi (7:35 / mi)

Was going well but then a mile in whacked my arm on a bollard - like i did the other day. It was so sore i was nearly sick. For amoment i thought i was broken. I am going to have a nice big briuse there in the norning. After a bit of a walk i got running again, though i had to move my garmin to my other arm as i was struggling to hold my arm up.

slept:8.0

Go running? i wish! another thursday without training as i spend the whole day removing wallpaper and ray takes trotter training in the evening, while i look after the kids. He was such a genius standing for trotter captain. shame tt coincides with my day off so no running to / from work opportunities either. Have to use up my latent energy from tonight the rest of the week.

Off-road running 46:30 [3] 6.0 mi (7:45 / mi)
slept:4.0

Stratospherically tired as got so little slwep last night, stressed as ray gave me a 'lie in' (this is not relaxing - just makes me late for work), legs tired from the shock of intervals last night. It was just mentally easier to run to work than to think of all of the things i'd have to unpack if i was going to drive. Headwind. Whacked elbow off a bollard a mile in. Today has got to get better.
4 PM

Road running 42:00 [4] 5.8 mi (7:14 / mi)

Run home, stopping at wickes on the way for 45 mins in order to by a bathroom suite. Life is so exciting! The first 3.4 miles were done in 23 mins, then stopped at wickes, then plodded home.

Tempo run intervals 55:00 [4] 5.5 mi (10:00 / mi)
slept:6.0

Tonis drills & intervals. Directly after physio had done ultrasound and acupuncture so was not going to go eyeballs out from the start. Felt shocking and slow as hadn't done much training last week, but pleased with the times. 7.49, 7.57, 3.34, 3.33, 3,38. stopped after 3rd k as i thought that would be enough. Foot not much better but physio thinks it will just go away eventually..
