Got some new big flat downhill-style pedals for the bike, the old ones were a little too small to use without the cages. then I had to go buy a pedal wrench and use it with a hammer to get the old ones off. Anyway, worked pretty well, except the whole bike seemed a little slow and creaky. mud plus deferred maintenance I guess. It was a fun loop, slightly exciting just because I wasn't 100% sure where I was going. A least the Virginians have gone overboard with bike path direction signs.
