Turned on left ankle at the 2009 Hallam Chase and heard a crack. Improved by the end of summer 2009. Worsened over winter 09/10 to the point where it kept me up at night.
After a few months of calf exercises and training the pain has gone though I'm still aware of my foot feeling different, I cant descend properly and its very stiff when I wake up.
Eventually got to a point where it doesnt bother me 99% of the time
