R Knee, Other

2009-05-16 – 2009-06-18

Grade: 2

Back of knee tendons.
Rolled my right ankle early in the 24 hour rogaine and limp-ran for 2 - 3 hours after that until the swallowing dissipated a bit, the pain subsided and I was able to put my weight on the right ankle again.
But I guess by that time the damage in the back of my knee was done.

After 1+ month of no running at all (except orienteering races) and lots of cycling, and couple weeks of massages, electrical impulse therapy and ultrasound the injury is gone.

The morale of it:
Don't run for 21 hours after you roll your ankle and it looks like a soft ball.
The bigger picture: Don't do rogaines, and the above will not happen.
