R Shoulder, Shoulder Pain

2017-10-13 – 2017-12-22

Grade: 2

Sternoclavicular sprain and tenderness in the trapezius.
Not really sure what the initiating event was, but have been having various aches and pains around my right shoulder. Some arm positions less comfortable than others. Vit. I was helping but not getting any better, so headed to walk-in care. Saw the Nurse Practitioner in Training, then the full-fledged NP. Some poking and prodding around, does this hurt, etc. Holds your arms/hands this way and pull/push against me.
Prescribed Prednisone, then 800 mg Vit I and take it easy. Walking, hiking is ok - short runs on level ground - NP is a runner so understood the I-need-to-go for-a-run. Also no trail work for a few weeks.

Still can feel it most mornings and with random movements, but not much of an issue any more.
No issues with poling, so I'm not going to worry about it.
