L Knee, Other

2006-02-19 – 2006-04-03

Grade: 3

Hyper mobile meniscus. Clicking can be felt in the knee without pain. MRI confirms no tear, just that it moves around a bit much. Pain was first felt running up and down hills at the Georgia Navigator Cup.

Not really sure what caused it since I've never had any knee problems before. May have tweaked the knee running in the GNC, in addition to the already inflamed ITBand, that compounded the injury.
Treatment (done alongside the ITBand injury) included REST, X-Train (Swim), and also physical therapy - strengthening exercises, stretches, massages, ultra-sound, ice, and electrical stimulations. A knee brace was also fitted for running and other activities to help keep meniscus in place.
