Training was going well, shins began to hurt so I added in some non-impact activity, and then after a run on 15th of May shins were so bad I could not walk without severe pain. Attempted to recover throughout summer, recovery was going well, shins acted up again at the beginning of November. Throughout December and into January I was wary of it, but still could feel them occasionally.
Too fast of increase in mileage. Exercises and smart training, lots on soft surfaces helped with recovery.
