Pain in L knee, unable to run. Saw Duncan 5/2/15, rest recommended. 17/3/15 saw Duncan again after no change. Had x-rays which appear to show two problems, on the one hand some narrowing of the gap between the patella and tibia, and on the other some medial meniscus tearing. Had cortisone injection, see how that goes; can try running again in a week, if no good then surgery will be the go.
5/4/15 Cortisone did not work too well, three short runs since the injection, all painful.
30/4/15 Had Synvisc injected, should be ok for up to 18 months.
6/6/15 Synvisc seems to be working ok.
