fencing is going well, but I have a recurring issue. In my first bout, my forearm feels really bad, like I pulled a muscle - sharp pain an weakness. When I continue fencing, after a while, this goes away - I have a neoprene elbow pad with a velcro strap over my forearm, I think I have been tightening the stap too much, aas my forearm gorges with blood and expands, the strap constricts blood flow and it gets week. by my 2nd bout I have loosened it and it is fine.
