7/21/15 Had epidural injection for herniated disk at L2-L3. Should provide pain relief for several months.
Actually Lumbar Radiculopathy... like Sciatica except the pain goes down the side and front of the leg instead of the back.
Just happened... not linked to any immediate cause. Most painful when sitting, also painful when standing still. Least painful when walking the dog. Fortunately able to sleep while lying on back. A curious injury... hip, pelvis, leg and even knee hurts yet there is no injury there... just pain signals from a pinched nerve no where near the site of perceived pain.
1/29/14 - saw orthopedist today. Got Rx pain med and OK to start modified PT. Followup apt in two weeks.
