R Foot, Other

2012-03-03 – 2012-03-31

Grade: 3

Probably not a stress fracture per-se, but it feels like it. A pain along the lower exterior (right) side of the foot, covers about the middle third of the foot (between the heel and the fingers). Mainly when standing, walking and running on the foot. Started 3/3 evening, probably related to the half-marathon on 2/3.

Inflammation of the little finger's extensor tendon. Started taking Arkoxia 90 on 14.

After 11 days of Arkoxia, done the Rogaine, and it went fine. But I walked the whole way (well, almost). Still feel the inflammation when pressing the right spot. Continue resting.

After almost a month with nearly no running (but walking the Rogaine) and 11 days of arkoxia, this is probably over.

Not sure what caused it. The half marathon alone doesn't sound right. Maybe the combination of the half, a very slight twisting of the ankle a week before that and the recovery running in the following day. Or just bad luck.
