R Foot, Plantar Fasciitis

The heel injury took me down on the Bong Bridge climb. The concrete was just too much, had to call for a ride home. Didn't finish long run. Thought I was farther along on the recovery, now worse! Minimun one week off of running to salvage Buffalo. Grandma's...not so sure now!

07-30-11 mending nicely, running with some confidence now, no so tenative. Adding one barefoot 5K-ish on grass per week turned the corner for the recovery.

Barefoot running was the ticket to help to gain foot strength. One day per week, not much more than 5K. Used toe shoes too! I should have done the toe to knee flex thing sooner too. Didn't get a handle on it until way into July. It just took time to resolve after that.
