North American Orienteering Championships: Long - Course 11

Jul 3, 2010 (event: North American Orienteering Championships)
North American Orienteering Championships & WRE
Cranbrook Community Forest, British Columbia

The long distance area has some large hills, but these are gentler and broader than in the middle distance area. There are large sections of fast running with little detail, but also pockets of extreme rock detail and rugged north facing slopes with dense forest and low visibility, as well as a section of open grasslands. All aspects of orienteering will be tested on the long courses!
