OCIN Easter - Governor Bebb: OCIN_Gov_Bebb_Mar_2018_2 Yellow

Gov Bebb Metropark, near Okeana, Ohio. Courses by Mike Minium. Snow dominated the day, with light to moderate snowfall throughout the event. Temperatures remained slightly above freezing, and the wet heavy snow accumulated around 2 or 3 inches, but melted fairly quickly. Not a single newcomer showed up to try the Easter Egg course, but many OCIN regulars braved the conditions to face challenging courses, that even included two ankle deep (or more) creek crossings on the green and red courses. The difficulty of the conditions and the challenge of the green and red courses is reflected in a fairly high number of dnf’s. Two adjacent controls on the orange and red courses had incorrectly numbered stands and units, which also caused some confusion to the earlier runners on orange course.
