| 5. | Drifted left leaving #4 and was about 40 m behind Carl crossing road, and he got out of sight. Took a pretty good route, though, and almost caught up at control. | ||||||
| 6. | +00:40 | Carl ran off ahead, and out of sight. Ran right by control, thinking I needed to go one knob farther, down to a little boulder cluster. When it wasn't there, puzzled a bit and then looked behind and returned. When I got there, Carl was coming from the left. | |||||
| 7. | +01:15 | Ahead of Carl, and drifted right around big boulders, and never got to the right line. Parallel error down by the open yellow and checking all the rocks. Finally realized where I needed to go and saw Carl leaving, well ahead. | |||||
