| Took the trail rather than a straight shot--gunshy from starting out shaky the day before |

Bad route choice
| Didn't see the trail run option to the east and instead took the western trail, thinking I'd cut across the bland area north of the hills, rocks, and green. But cut in too early and ended up pussyfooting down the steep area near the cliff and swamp. |

| Did the trail but went one stream too far and came in at the stonewall. Relocated quickly though. |

| Went too far north and got into more green and briars on my way to the trail |
