Race Evaluation

DVOA Nockamixon: Red

Wyatt

1. +00:05Trails to road, past control (on purpose) attacking from West.
2. +00:10Rough exit - finding snow tracks where possible to cross bouldery stream. Stuck in a little briar on the way to the field, then easy.
3. Tracks/direct in field to gap, then mostly straight, veering toward wall a little early.
4. Wall-road. Ran in fresh snow on road as it seem faster (less wobbly) than the beat-down track.
5. +00:1516 seconds maybe in this split or previous not sure... Got stuck on exit of 4, backtracked then basically up stream, trail, past building and in.
6. E to wall corner, trails to parking lot junc. and in despite not seeing flag from the road.
7. +00:30Exit was terribly windy/thorny. Hit field along edge of house. Then through M-green which wasn't as bad as the L-green exitting 6. Route bad in general - should've gone N in white and followed wall
8. Wall-road. Suprised that green near 8 was gone. In general, the vegetation could certaintly be updated on this map.
9. A little left of line, again straight through some "dark green" that was white. Past new house to white forest, cut in and suprised to see bad (misplaced slightly) to my left.
10. +00:15Tried to find indistinct trail but ended up too far SE on some kind of road/trail, then around lake, and through some seriously marshy stuff S of bag before turning NE. Could see cliff well and ran toward that, and then the contours/bag appeared.
11. Slow exit back to Norther E point of lake. Around E-side of lake, parking lot...
12. Trails, straight in although around the back would've been a few seconds faster (can't tell at all based on map...)
13. +00:10Trail down. Meant to go to ditch and follow it straight up to the bad to simplify and hit less green, but miscounted and cut in early - diagonal west to 13 - a little confused and hit 'wall' SE of the mapped end, following it up.
14. Runnably wobbly straightish.
F. Dodge, weave.
