2. | Went directly to a couple of smaller boulders just uphill from the control, which are inexplicably mapped as stony ground. Wandered around for a couple of minutes just south and uphill of there, before coming back and spotting the larger boulder. | ||||||

6. | Right of the line, via trails. Phil was just as fast, I think on a more direct route. | ||||||

8. | Followed stone wall to the left, wound up scaling the big cliff SW of the control. | ||||||
9. | Finally pulled away from Phil on this leg. | ||||||
10. | South to trail in order to avoid going through the big reentrant. | ||||||
11. | Drifted left, hit the larger trail, which gave me a good attack. Saw Andrew just after leaving the control. | ||||||
12. | Drifted way too far left, hit the trail coming up the NW side of the peak. Followed trails to the saddle that I intended to go through. Straight through the woods after I got to the bottom. | ||||||
13. | Came down the hill further left than I thought, puzzled by unmapped marsh on the other side of the trail, popped out at the trail junction E of control and did okay once I realized where I was. | ||||||
F. | Started up small trail (which was pretty big) for a few steps until it was obvious that it was wrong, cut through the woods to get to the large one. |
