walk
| 1. | +00:30 | Trail past wall, cut corner of field, across to corner of wall, not seeing dam (thought was a cliff) - slowly dropped thru rocks to cross stream, cross to marsh, to gap in wall, to bag. | |||||
| 2. | +02:00 | Up along wall, over rocky grd, green push me R over cliffs to R side of spur. Looked around nose of spur but didn't see bag, kept going for a bit but saw nothing but rocks. Looked back and saw bag. | |||||
| 3. | R of marsh, below big cliff, L of green up reentrant slowly to bag just as JJ arrived. | ||||||
| 4. | +01:00 | Tried for open slot N of marsh but didn't go far enough. Headed in and hit marsh, went around in saplings then fought thick green and over rocks/cliffs to stream. L of green adn up reentrant. | |||||
| 5. | +00:30 | Had circled wrong pit, 140m E. Went directly to it (pretty vague pit) adn no bag. Wander a few seconds with another couple, determined correct location off nearby rocks but no bag and headed off. | |||||
| 6. | +02:00 | From false pit, headed way R to check other side of reentrant, no bag, then up and along narrow marsh (probably went right by #5) to trail, up to corner of wall, tried to go thru green gap to road but not clear map. Around outhouses, thru green, kept going L around green (seemed a long way around) and one last corner to bag. | |||||
| 7. | Because of questionable mapping of green, decided to go back to road tho had bit of trouble finding gap again. Road to trail bend, across to bag. | ||||||
| 8. | To trail by rock (had drifted R) down trail to bend, across keeping down from green. Had trouble drifting R. Over small spur towards another, then stopped, looked L and saw bag. | ||||||
| 9. | Straight, staying L of watercourse and then green. Fell part way down but ok, this time. Saw big rock thru thin green with someone in blue behind - was Lyn punching. | ||||||
| 10. | +01:00 | BOOM! Punched 9 just after Lyn and headed after her going R around marsh. Just by rock, I tried to dodge around a 6" tree but caught my toe and dove into the trunk, hitting it full force on my sternum brushing my R cheek. As in CF, the tree won, I bounced off falling to the ground with an ugh! Splayed on hands and knees stunned as Lyn returned to check damage. Slowly got up and started off again, to trail, along to wall. | |||||
